The History of the English Premier league

Twenty years ago the EPL launched its new campaign with Barclays bank. This competition gather 20 individual teams from all around England to compete for this tournament. Only the best of the best get to compete and the top 4 teams from this competition qualify for the EUFA Champions League. From its launch date uptil now, there has been two teams fighting over the supremacy of this title. These are Liverpool FC and Manchester United. These two have a huge history of rivalry between them even before the EPL. The competition before 1990 was named The English Premiership. It has witnessed liverpool raising the trophy 18 times, and Manchester United 19 times. this very close rivalry created a modern vibe of football between the fans of both teams. As for other top fierce rivalries, Arsenal and Chelsea are also related in a turf war in London. These two teams also have history between them as they both emerge from the same region in England. These four teams are the most successful amongst others in the EPL and most of the attention of the EPL goes to these four.
